In order to make nature livable, it must first be understood. Understanding nature, however, comes through learning. The most permanent method of learning is learning by doing. Through this nature education, the target group will take an active role in the training and participate in many activities. One way to restore the disturbed natural balance, prevent environmental pollution, and avert other disasters that our planet faces is to raise individuals who understand and value nature. This program aims to contribute to the upbringing of such individuals. By providing participants with opportunities to observe, it will enable a better understanding of the processes in nature. The main objectives of this nature education are listed below:
- Within the scope of environmental and nature-related topics, enabling participants to understand the processes of nature from a scientific perspective
- Encouraging a love for scientific research through observations in nature
- Inspiring curiosity about science and promoting scientific thinking through activities carried out in nature
- Ensuring the permanence of knowledge gained by assigning active tasks to participants, raising awareness by questioning natural processes and relationships, and contributing to the development of environmental consciousness
- Providing the target group with a broad ecological vision
- Contributing to the increase of environmental awareness
- Supporting the reinforcement of personal creativity through the knowledge and insights gained
- Training individuals with high environmental sensitivity who can correctly perceive the changes that may occur in ecosystems and the threats to biodiversity as a result of humanity’s negative interactions with the environment
